Welcome!
Abigail Underwood is an Aberdeen based neurodivergent actor, performance poet and emerging playwright. Her work explores the light and dark inherent in the human condition, finding humour and connection in experiences of loss and grief. Her poetry explores working class experiences with strong themes of feminism, connection, and nostalgia. Abigail is deeply passionate about inclusive working practices, and facilitates drama classes for adults with learning disabilities. She is also a co-producer and host of The Draft Room, Aberdeen's new and only night for writers to have their drafts read out loud without the pressure of staging, to aid in their development.
