Cinderella

In December 2023, students at North East Scotland College performed Abigail's full length pantomime. There were songs, regional gags, some very ugly sisters but more importantly - sparkly crocs!

Last Orders

Abigail directed a piece about male friendship and mental health, with the collaboration of her cast. Abigail has a passion for using unconventional spaces and experimenting with the line between private and public behaviour. She used a classroom with French doors to trial the effect on the audience when they were part of the performance space and when they were not.

Little Bird

Written as part of Birds of Paradise (BOP) Writer's Group, Little Bird is a ten-minute play exploring grief of the ultimate kind and the breakdown of a marriage. Shared as a script-in-hand performance at CCA in Glasgow and produced by BOP and Playwrights' Studio Scotland, the piece was directed by Caitlin Skinner with Colin Young as Max and Natalie Mae Kelly as Clem. Mother, I Must Confess

Selected for Light The Blue Festival's Page to Stage event in 2023, this short comedy sketch explores Robert's parent's reaction to a 'shocking' secret. It was directed by Chloe Christie, and the actors were picked at random from those who were interested. They then had just one hour to block, with open rehearsal room, before presenting.
